Cottages

• No new cottage lots will be established in provincial parks.
• Cottage subdivisions exist in seven parks. These subdivisions are managed by Parks Division. In some instances, there are cottage subdivisions adjacent to parks.
• Park staff work with cottage owners to encourage practices that fit with the park's conservation and recreation values.

Facility Operating & Service Agreements

The Government of Alberta owns all provincial campgrounds. We use facility operating and service agreements to contract some campground operations and services when it is cost-effective.
