Summary of Feedback

Alberta Parks implemented a public feedback program in 2008, consisting of this online form and business reply mail comment cards available at selected parks.

Total feedback submitted

  • 2011 - 646 feedback response on 101 different parks
  • 2010 - 628 feedback responses on 97 different parks
  • 2009 - 966 feedback responses on 108 different parks
  • 2008 - 406 feedback responses on 90 different parks

Most of the feedback received is very site-specific and includes concerns and/or compliments on a particular facility, service or staff member. Comments are forwarded to the park office so that staff can address issues where possible and reinforce positive aspects of the visitor experience.

In general, comments are similar to the findings of the Annual Camper Satisfaction Survey. Major sources of complaints are reservations, information services and noise. Most positive comments are general in nature or compliments on staff/contractors/volunteers.
